On September 14, 2023 the Algemeen Dagblad published a article about the NASA UAP press conference, in which the response of UAP Coalition Netherlands was discussed extensively.
In the article, Chairman Dekkers responds to NASA's findings: ,"The findings in the NASA report confirm what we've been emphasizing for some time: UAP research deserves serious attention and resources. The emphasis on science opens the door to a deeper understanding of these phenomena."”
UAPCNL sees the report as strong support for the call for scientific research and less stigmatization of witnesses. The coalition urges the Dutch government and the EU to adopt a similar, serious approach.
