FAQ: Frequently asked questions about reporting UAP
Is submitting a UAP observation completely confidential?
Yes. At UAP Coalition Netherlands, privacy is our top priority. Reports are sent directly and exclusively to the Chairman. We never share personal data or sensitive details with third parties, governments, or the media without your explicit, written consent. For professionals in aviation, defense and law enforcement, we adhere to strict protocols to protect professional reputations.
What information do I need to provide for a report?
For a valuable report, details such as the location, time, estimated altitude, and behavior of the phenomenon are essential. Were you alone, or did others also observe the UAP? Do you have additional evidence such as photos, videos, or radar data? If so, please mention this in your initial contact. Even without visuals, your professional testimony is invaluable to the investigation.
What happens after I submit my UAP sighting?
After receiving your report, the chair will contact you personally for confirmation. Depending on the nature of the observation, a follow-up meeting with one of our specialists or ambassadors may be scheduled. Your data will be anonymized and included in our file to map structural patterns in Dutch and European airspace, with the aim of improving safety.
