Scientific freedom: UAPCNL advises EU on research infrastructure

UAP Coalition Netherlands has formally feedback submitted to the European Commission in the context of the Call for Evidence for the European Strategy for Research and Technology Infrastructures.

In our contribution, we emphasized the creation of a truly inclusive European research landscape. We highlighted the following key points:

  • Tackling Stigma: UAP research serves as an example of how reputational damage can unfairly hinder access to funding and facilities.
  • Scientific Freedom: Protection of researchers working in unconventional or emerging scientific fields.
  • Inclusivity: Support curiosity-driven research, regardless of the topic, so as not to hinder technological and scientific innovation.

Our goal is to ensure that future European research infrastructure is open to all scientific disciplines, thus removing barriers to serious UAP research.
