On September 24, 2025 A constructive meeting took place in Brussels between representatives of the UAP Coalition Netherlands and the Austrian Member of the European Parliament Lukas Mandl. Mr. Mandl took extensive time to discuss the European approach to Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP) to be discussed.
During this meeting, several important themes were discussed that underline the need for a coordinated policy:
- Flight safety: The risks of unknown phenomena in European airspace.
- Stigma & Mental Health: The psychological impact on pilots and professionals and the need for a safe reporting culture.
- Cooperation: Concrete next steps for greater transparency at European level.
UAPCNL sees this discussion as a valuable step towards international cooperation and further awareness within the European Union.
